Next month brings the launch of JACC: Case Reports, the newest journal in the growing JACC Family. Editor-in-Chief Julia Grapsa, MD, PhD, FACC, shared with Cardiology her vision of a journal that is an engaging, interactive forum and teaching tool for cardiovascular professionals and the Cardiovascular Team. They used their background in Clinical Dermatology to explore a better path to addressing hair loss. Dr. Shapiro brought 20 years of clinical experience in hair loss and hair transplant knowledge (and also his name!) to Shapiro MD, and Dr. Borenstein brought his intensive scientific background with his PhD in Pharmacology and years of clinical Dermatology experience.

Dr. Neumar has over 20 years of research experience in the field of cardiac arrest resuscitation and traumatic brain injury. His basic science research has been focused on mechanisms of neuronal injury after ischemic and traumatic brain injury, as well as therapeutic strategies to improve neurologic outcomes including therapeutic hypothermia.
